Watchmen were sleeping in the dead of the night
The enemy came and evaded their sight
Why do you seem so indifferent and stale
Satan is prowling while you look away
When light turns to darkness
And white turns to black
Are you training your people to stand in the gap
When good men do nothing
But stare at the ruins
I will not leave it up to chance
A reason to fear
A reason for hate
Correcting the course may be too late
Maybe there's more than this
Maybe there's more than this
No love for the truth
Just tolerate lies
Search for the sun with blinded eyes
Maybe there's more than this
There's gotta be more than this
Put on your armor and take up your sword
Righteousness, faith and the Word of the Lord
A beacon of truth and a bastion of light
We are His soldiers
So stand up and fight
When doctrines of demons and traditions of men
Collide with what's written again and again
When evil is rising and love grows cold
It's time to rise and take a stand
Nothing to lose
Nothing to gain
I take the first step
I'm on my way
Maybe there's more than this
There's gotta be more than this
When nobody else is digging the wells
It's gotta be me to ring the bells
Maybe there's more than this
There's gotta be more than this
Nothing to lose
Nothing to gain
I take the first step
I'm on my way
Maybe there's more than this
There's gotta be more than this
When nobody else is ringing the bells
It's gotta be me to dig the wells
Maybe there's more than this
There's gotta be more than this

Out of the wreckage brought upon by dual personal tragedies comes an outstanding album that is sorrowful and victorious. Once you listen to this a few times, it’s hard to want to listen to anything else for a while. This is my front runner for metal album of 2021, and perhaps even my overall AOTY. Metal Marc
I picked this up a few years ago, at a time when I really needed an album like this. To this day it is still something that I love to play beginning to end and feel every second of it.
Such a amazing expression of humbling yourself lyricwise mixed with the most unique style of Black Gaze I've ever heard. billyspears
