Flipping through the pages
I could not believe my eyes
There was no mention of the guy
They call the antichrist
That is when I realized
Not all is what it seems
I had to re-examine my beliefs
The time is now
A new day is dawning
Full of hope and opportunity
To the past I'll never be returning
I'm more alive than I feel I've ever been
See the truth before my eyes unfolding
Leave the flames of Babylon behind
Hope and faith guide me in my calling
To love the Lord with all the power of my mind
Now I'm on a journey
To question and dig deep
And maybe by the grace of God
Wake others from their sleep
Whatever will not fit the bill
I'm ready to unlearn
And I will not leave a stone unturned
Hear the voice of Revelation calling
Once obscure becoming crystal clear
No more lies, my faith is ever growing
Unafraid I face the future without fear
See the truth before my eyes unfolding
Leave the flames of Babylon behind
Hope and faith guide me in my calling
To love the Lord with all the power of my mind
Spirit calls, the winds of change are blowing
The old is gone and new must take its place
Never stall and never stop reforming
Prove my worth, be a workman unashamed
See the truth before my eyes unfolding
Leave the flames of Babylon behind
Hope and faith guide me in my calling
To love the Lord with all the power of my mind

Out of the wreckage brought upon by dual personal tragedies comes an outstanding album that is sorrowful and victorious. Once you listen to this a few times, it’s hard to want to listen to anything else for a while. This is my front runner for metal album of 2021, and perhaps even my overall AOTY. Metal Marc

I picked this up a few years ago, at a time when I really needed an album like this. To this day it is still something that I love to play beginning to end and feel every second of it.
Such a amazing expression of humbling yourself lyricwise mixed with the most unique style of Black Gaze I've ever heard. billyspears
